CHINESE NEW YEAR This week our children have been exploring lots of Chinese New Year learning. In our 2-year-old room, children have used boxes to create Chinese dragons, they've enjoyed riding these and mark making on them In Rising 3s and Pre-school, children have collaged their own lanterns, tried lots of Chinese foods and made their own Chinese restaurant. They had lots of fun practicing using chopsticks too! In reception, children have retold the story of the Great Race using Talk4Write and developed their scissors skills by cutting lanterns out.
