BAKING AT BURLEYFIELDS Today, Burleyfields Nursery children visited our practical room for the first time to bake hedgehog bread! They have been busy learning all about woodland animals this week and we celebrated this by making hedgehog bread. The children used their pinchy fingers to make the hedgehog's prickly backs and rolled a ball to make the body. They also learnt all about the importance of cleanliness when baking and safety around the oven too! What an exciting day, we hope the children have enjoyed eating their hedgehog breads and telling you all about their learning at home
